| I put over $10k in aftermarket parts into my last in a period of less than 2 years. I lost it all in the blink of an eye in an accident. If you plan on having insurance cover it all, expect to set aside a chunk of that bonus for that purpose alone. I just reenlisted last year. I got $24k for a 6 year tour. I got a little over $9k as an initial chunk. That entire $9k went into savings. Don't repeat my mistake. I may ony be 25 but I've got a little wisdom in this area. You'll regret wasting your money later. Have fun with your Z but do it in bits and pieces. After a short while you'll want more anyway. At least you can satisfy your desires little by little instead of wasting your money, getting the itch, and having nothing to scratch it with.
